UHHRU will conduct trainings on the European Court’s practice for lawyers defending EuroMaidan participants

The Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union launches a series of trainings for lawyers providing legal assistance to participants of EuroMaidan rallies.

The trainings will focus on preparing applications to the European Court of Human Rights and further cooperation with the Court, as well as identification of cases and providing background data to substantiate the most common violations.

The first mini-training will be conducted on February 10, 2014 at 46, Artema St., room # 5; Kyiv at 5 p.m. The training will be conducted by Arkady Bushchenko, Lawyer, Executive Director, UHHRU; Mykhailo Tarakhalo, Director on Strategic Affairs, UHHRU; Ivan Lishyna, Senior Lawyer, Astapov Lawyers, former Legal Officer of the European Court of Human Rights.
